Bicheno Beach House is for everyone

When we began restoring and renovating Bicheno Beach House, creating a property that was genuinely accessible to as many people as possible, was central to the vision.

We welcome guests with unique qualities and needs including hearing impairment, limited mobility, wheelchair/scooter needs or cognitive impairment.

Upon request we are delighted to provide:

  • Shower chair and stool

  • Over toilet chair

  • Hand rails

  • Walking frame

  • White cane walking stick

  • Four-legged walking stick

  • Forearm crutches and auxiliary crutches

In consultation with leading accessible tourism experts, TravAbility, Bicheno Beach House undertook the Accessible Tourism program to help us evaluate how inclusive our holiday house is for visitors with accessibility requirements including cognitive/autism; limited mobility; low hearing; wheelchairs and scooters.
